The Crofton Civic Association’s annual Armed Forces Day Parade will be held on Saturday, May 1st. Kickoff at Crofton Woods will take place at 11am. The parade will process along Crofton Parkway to Crofton Elementary School, Duke of Kent Drive.

May 7, 2010 1pm, Timonium, MD

Held at Delaney Valley Memorial Gardens, in Timonium, MD the Fallen Heroes Day Memorial Service this year will honor those Maryland public safety officers who have died in the line of duty in the past year.

Honored this year will be:

• Chief Charles “Buck” Clough Jr., Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company
• Cpl. Thomas P. Jensen, Prince George’s County Police Department

Note that Hector Ayala, Montgomery County Police Department will be honored next year, at the request of his family.

PGPPB played two sets at the Greene Turtle in Laurel, MD on April 6. It was a great success, and we helped raise money for the Maryland Concerns of Police Survivors in one of the most successful COPS fundraisers held at the Greene Turtle to date!
